Ozaukee County:
*Time for some family fun on June 11th from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Nature Park for biking enthusiasts! One to three miles of beginner and intermediate trails to enjoy. Group rides, give-aways, snacks and refreshments will be available! Don’t forget, helmets are required to participate in the event! Parents feel free to bring your bike and join in on the fun!
*National Flag Day Celebration for anyone to attend on June 12th at 10 a.m. at the Stony Hill School! The Ozaukee County Historical Society invites the community to participate with music, special appearances, children’s activities and free refreshments.
Racine County:
*Looking for an art show? Then head on down to one of Wisconsin’s oldest and most respected juried fine art fairs, Monument Square Art Festival on June 11 – June 12 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Presenting 80 artists from around the country exhibiting works in a variety of media, located on Main Street in Racine.
*Ready to open the 2016 season are the Racine Raiders vs. the Chicago Mustangs in a non-conference match-up! Located at Horlick Athletic Field on June 11th at 7 p.m. Get ready to rumble! Tickets vary from $4 to $8 depending on age.
Milwaukee County:
*Head on over to Humboldt Park in Milwaukee on June 11th from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. to enjoy Bay View Art in the Park! The festival’s main focus is to celebrate local artists and help create connections to their community. BVAP prides itself on being admission free and welcoming to all!
*Ready to eat? Participate in the Brady Street Walking Tour on June 12th at 11:45 a.m.! Combining Milwaukee history with great eats and good company. For an incredible $45 visit six restaurants for substantial samples! You won’t need to plan a meal after this tour!
Jefferson County:
*Calling all fiber artists! On June 11-12 come and enjoy Fiber on the Farm which includes demonstrations of all sources of fiber preparations, spinning wheel repair, arts and crafts relating to fiber, vendor booths for yarn and raw material classes and workshops. From 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. you will not want to miss this event in Watertown!
*Are you busy on June 11th from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.? If you are we bet you are heading to the 2nd Annual Dairy Day at the “Moo”-seum! Located in Fort Atkinson, it’s a celebration of all things Dairy! The Hoard Historical Museum and the National Dairy Shrine Museum host family-friendly activities for adults and children and don’t forget the barn games!
Kenosha County:
*It’s time to watch the Rebels and Redcoats Revolutionary War Reenactment! On June 11th in Kenosha the Rebels and the Redcoats will fight an epic battle to determine if Petrifying Springs Park will remain in Kenosha County or will become part of the British Empire! The reenactment is free to the public.
*Ready to see something spectacular? Family-focused choreographed Aquanut Water Ski Show Team performs on Lake Mary. 2015 National Show Ski Champions! Free admission and free parking. June 11th at 6 p.m in Twin Lakes. Don’t miss out on this great family fun!
Waukesha County:
*Fiesta Waukesha is back in town! Promoting multi-cultural awareness this festival offers a wide array of Hispanic entertainment, Latin American cuisine, amusement rides, children’s area and more; located along the banks of the Fox River in Frame Park. June 11th from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. or June 12th from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.
*Feel the energy as you wear your brightest summer clothes and join neighbors of all ages for activities, prizes, and lots of bubbles on the Bubble Walk on June 11th. The walk route starts at the Alice Baker Library at 10 a.m. and proceeds through the Village Park and returns on Main Street to the library for more fun!
Walworth County:
*Summer is the season of Rummages! Attend the City-Wide Rummage Sale in Elkhorn on June 11thall day long. This is the time to explore new parts of the city and find some new treasures!
*Time for an Icebreaker! Icebreaker at Fontana is a full day of family fun on Geneva Lake! On June 11th from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. is a day at the beach! There is swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, kids games, biking and more!
Sheboygan County:
*Ready to get dirty? Head to the Sheboygan County Fair Park for Plymouth Dirt Track Racing on June 11th from 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. The fun doesn’t end with Micro Sprint & Grand National drive introductions! $11 for Adults, $5 for 12-15 yr. old and FREE 11 and under when accompanied by an adult.
*Let’s play ball! Come out and watch the Lakeshore Chinooks as they take on the Waterloo Bucks on June 11th at 6:35 p.m. at Kapco Park on the campus of Concordia University in Mequon. Don’t miss out on Gill’s Mascot Birthday Party presented by Cedar Crest Ice Cream!
