The 2012 Geneva Lakes Antique and Classic Boat show is this weekend, from Friday, September 28 – Sunday, September 30. This three day event is presented by the Blackhawk Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society.
Activities on Friday include an estate tour during the day with lunch and a nighttime reception with cocktails and dinner to kick-start the weekend. Boats will be on display both Saturday and Sunday starting at 10am. The event is free and open to the public. Local vendors will have goods displayed at the event, and the traditional boat parade begins at 4pm. Dinner at the Abbey Resort is an additional event available by registering in advance. 21 awards will be given out in a variety of categories on Sunday at 2pm.
